The route

The loop, end to end

Ha Giang city is km 0. The road climbs to Quan Ba, runs north through Yen Minh to Dong Van and the flag tower, crosses Ma Pi Leng to Meo Vac, then drops into the quiet valleys around Du Gia before coming home through Thai An.
